As part of IUCN Journey to Marseille – a series of online events leading up to the IUCN World Conservation Congress in 2021 – BEST webinars aim at giving stage to local stakeholders from the European Overseas to understand the role of the latter and challenges they face in conservation.

This event is dedicated to initiatives which have developed eco-acoustic techniques for marine biodiversity conservation. By gathering experts from Macaronesia (Canary Archipelago) and Indian Ocean (Scattered Islands) among others, the discussion will enable to share good practices and facilitate dialogue among practitioners.
